Gage students of all levels and disciplines celebrate a year filled with artistic creativity and intensive study at the 18th annual Best of Gage.
Exhibition & Awards
Join the celebration as students, artists and art lovers alike peruse three floors of artwork exhibiting diverse media, subjects and individual style.
Guest juror Derrick R. Cartwright, director of the Seattle Art Museum, selects the prestigious Best in Show prize and top entries in seven categories: Abstract, Beginner, Figure, Landscape, Portrait, Sculpture, Still Life. Participate in the awards by voting for your favorite piece to receive the People’s Choice Award and don’t miss out on the big awards ceremony at 7:00pm when we announce the winning artists!

Returning for the second year, Gage offers the opportunity to purchase select works from the Best of Gage exhibition and the studios of our dedicated atelier students starting at just $50. Take home an original piece of art while supporting your favorite artist and your favorite art school!
Best of Gage Vernissage
Be the first to view and purchase artworks by reserving your place at the Best of Gage Vernissage. Enjoy fine wine and fine art during the exclusive private showing from 5:00pm-6:00pm—before the general public arrives. Tickets for this unique opportunity are only $50 per person, but space is limited, so call early to reserve your place! Artwork by Deborah Scott.
