
Jeanne Dodds, teacher of a range of visual arts disciplines since 1997, is inspired by the work of her students and the experience of teaching art to youth. In 2008, she was listed as a teaching artist on the Artist Roster of the
Washington State Arts Commission. Through her teaching business,
Artemis, Dodds has instructed classes, workshops and guest lectures at numerous sites including the
Portland Art Museum, Antioch University,
Powerful Arts, the
Boise Art Museum and the
Frye Art Museum.
She coordinates a Seattle non-profit art gallery where she works with students from public and private schools to create and showcase their work in a professional setting.
Her current visual arts practice in the fields of illustration, photography and mixed-media explores the interaction of humans and the natural environment.
