Gage Academy of Art is located in the historic St. Nicholas building, a distinguished 1925 landmark building with a legacy of housing arts organizations. Our studios are nestled in the north end of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood and offer breathtaking views. Gage is walking distance from Volunteer Park and the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
Our studio, administrative and community
spaces include:
- Six north-lit studio classrooms with gallery-grade lighting systems
- Two fully equipped sculpting classrooms and on-site kiln
- Three private faculty studios
- Group studios for up to forty students
- Five public gallery spaces
- Student lounge
- Belyea Library with art reference books, DSL workstations and cast collection
- Fully articulated horse skeleton
- Skinner Auditorium
- Free, on-site parking
