Classroom Volunteer Positions
Gage Academy relies on the generous support of volunteers to make our educational and community-outreach programs a reality. Gage Academy welcomes all interested persons to volunteer their time and skills to the school. A limited number of work study and classroom volunteer positions are also available to students wishing to exchange administrative or maintenance services for tuition.

Instructor Positions
While we are not currently looking to fill any teaching vacancies, we are always interested in learning of new, talented artists and appreciate the opportunity to get to know your work.
Gage offers classes in the disciplines of drawing, painting and sculpting. Before you submit an application, please look at our Web site and familiarize yourself with our current offerings.
In order for us consider your teaching proposal, please supply us with the following materials:
A letter of introduction discussing why you teach, how you teach and what you want to teach
Your resume or curriculum vitae
20 images of your work- slides, CD or link to a Web site. Please choose work that illustrates the teaching ideas you are proposing in your letter of introduction
Sample syllabus - Our classes are ten weeks long. Please provide us with an outline of a course you have already taught, preferably one suitable for a class you would teach at Gage

Figure Modeling
Gage currently only works with professional art models. At present, we do not have a need for those who can only work as a portrait model.
Spring and summer 2010: If you are interested in becoming a figure model for Gage Academy, please
download the Modeling Application form and return with a photo of yourself to
Carol Hendricks, School Manager.
